The other day I was sat at home, thinking about possible blog posts, when I realised that none of you really know much about me. I mean, you could look at my Twitter and get a pretty good idea of what I’m like (very sarcastic, I laugh easily and I’m a big lover of memes) but on here I think I can really nail the basics. To be honest, I just want all of you to get to know me a bit better so that you can see what sort of person I am and hopefully (!!) relate to me a little bit or find a similar interest!
What’s the first thing you do when you wake up?
Make my bed. This is the same every single morning and I can’t do anything else until my bed is made and my cushions are plumped up and in the right place! I have a bit of ocd when it comes to everything being clean and tidy in my room.
How many photos are currently on your phone?
1,577. I’m not really much of a photo taker unless my sole objective of going somewhere is to take blog photos! However, this is something I reeeeaaaaally want to change as photos are such a lovely way to remember great memories and they’re free! At some point (when I feel I’m ready to be committed haha) I’m going to download the 1 Second Everyday app. It sounds like such a great idea and means you have a nice little video summary to watch at the end of the year!
Where do you want to travel to next?
Canada, Mexico, Portugal and Italy. One day I WILL visit Australia and New Zealand but that’s going to take some serious saving so no hopes of going there any time soon! I’m currently debating whether to just go solo on a trip to Italy because everyone says how amazing it is travelling alone and that everyone should do it at least once in their lifetime sooooo maybe, we will see.
Biggest celebrity crush?
Zac Efron. Oh my days. I once read a tweet that said, “If Zac Efron were to set up a kissing booth we could end world hunger” which I totally agree with and am totally up for.
Anthropologie, Paper Source (if you’re reading this Paper Source PLEEEAAASE COME TO THE UK!) and probably Primark. Primark are at the best they’ve been for a long time right now and I LOVE it! Anytime I wear something from there someone will always comment on it and be so surprised when I say it’s Primark!
How many siblings do you have?
One brother called Josh. He’s three years younger than me, verrrrry tall and annoying as hell but can have his nice moments!
First CD you ever bought?
Spice Girls album. If you don’t know who they are (you should), look them up on Youtube. They produced some absolute bangers and they’re soooo so catchy! Saying this I think I need to go and put their album on now….
What’s your biggest fear?
My absolute biggest fear is of dead people or animals. Most people don’t understand it and find it weird (which I really don’t get to be honest as I don’t think it’s that abnormal?). It’s not that I just don’t like dead things, I literally cannot be around them at all. For example, it makes me extremely uncomfortable being in a graveyard and I can’t watch TV programmes or movies that have zombies or corpses in them. I’m not sure where this fear comes from exactly but I’m hoping one day it won’t affect me as much as it does now.
How many kids would you like to have?
I think I would like three kids, maybe four. I’ve always looked at big families and thought how much fun it would be having a little group of you, always looking after each other and there always being someone there if you need them. I’m not going to lie; the Kardashians have helped me come to this decision but how cute are they when they all stick up for each other and have fun sibling trips out?!
Biggest pet peeve?
Hmm, I have a lot to be honest! My number one is probably when people don’t listen to what I’m saying or if they hear what I’ve said but don’t truly listen. I am definitely a big listener, I can sit with my friends for hours just listening to their problems and offering advice. I love to make other people happy and, to me, if someone wants to spend their time listening to my problems and trying to help then that would make me really happy so I try to do it for others as much as I can.
This changes frequently as I think quotes can be great at motivating you or cheering you up if you’re in a bad mood! But something I have started to live by a lot recently is this quote from Mr Drake himself:
“You’ll be ok! Nothing is ever that bad. Trust me… give it 72 hours. Three sleeps can fix almost anything”
If you’re ever not sure what to do in a situation, sleep on it! A couple of days later you will know the answer, I guarantee it.
Thing you’re most thankful for right now?
My eyesight. The other day I was talking to my friend about how her eyesight gets worse every time she goes to the optician and it dawned on me how much I take my 20/20 eyesight for granted. I can’t imagine how annoying it must be to have to wear glasses all day every day (kudos to you if you do, that is quite an achievement) and so I am extreeemely thankful for the wonderful gift that is eyesight!
So, there you go! I hope you feel you now know me a little better and I would love to know your answers to the same questions in the comments! Now to go and dance to a bit of Spice Girls…
